Three longtime Gainesville High School supporters received honorary diplomas from the school last week as a thank-you for their support. Gainesville High School principal LaCrisia Larkin conferred honorary diplomas to John O’Neal Davis, Coleen Potts Ivey and state Sen. Butch Miller at a reception Thursday evening. Davis worked for the city school system for 27 years at E. E. Butler High, Miller Park Elementary, Main Street Elementary, Gainesville Middle and Gainesville High.
