A 5-year-old was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center on Thursday after a dog bite, authorities said.

Deputies, EMS and Hall County Animal Control responded to the report about 4 p.m. on Bogus Road, according to Deputy John Marshall, spokesman for the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.

Animal Control is investigating the incident.
