Charles Lewis, former chairman of the Hall County Republican Party and owner of an Oakwood CPA firm, has announced he will be a candidate for Hall County tax commissioner in the July 31 Republican primary.
"My experiences as a tax professional since receiving my CPA license 30 years ago combined with my supervisory experience in the military and as a business owner would serve the public well," said Lewis.
Lewis said he will extend office hours, cross-train employees and move them to where they are needed most during busy hours and investigate low-cost, feasible alternatives, such as locating satellite tag offices in libraries.
