Volunteers for Challenged Child and Friends decorate Christmas trees as part of the annual Festival of Trees, a fundraiser for the organization. This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday at the Buisson Barn, 6354 J.F. Jay Road, Gainesville, on the shore of Lake Lanier, and features uniquely decorated trees and wreaths, along with original jewelry and artwork. All proceeds benefit children at Challenged Child and Friends, which provides support and education to children. The gala starts at 7 p.m., and tickets cost $80.
