The canoe launch located on the Chattahoochee River at Mossy Creek Access Area in North Hall is scheduled to temporarily close beginning Sept. 12 to allow the use of heavy equipment in the area.

This area, Mossy Creek, will receive extensive road maintenance the week of Sept. 12 with work expected to conclude by Sept. 16, weather-permitting. Maintenance includes road grading, ditch work, new culverts, new gravel and installation of erosion control measures. This maintenance should improve driving and parking conditions for area users.

The area will be marked with bright orange “Temporarily Closed for Maintenance” signs at the entrance and highway.
