Newsmakers in Business: Local McDonald’s manager wins Ray Kroc Award

Elmer Bonilla is a 2020 recipient of the McDonald's Ray Kroc Award.

Elmer Bonilla was among five McDonald’s managers in Northeast Georgia chosen to receive the 2020 Ray Kroc Award.

Chosen globally from more than 38,000 restaurants, the winners represent the top 1 percent of McDonald’s managers from around the world.

Named after McDonald’s Corporation founder Ray Kroc, the award recognizes and rewards hardworking managers who deliver superior results.

Bonilla was nominated by owner operator Bob Swoszowski. Bonilla started his career with Northeast Georgia Inc. and attended Hamburger University in May 2009 in order to become a store manager.

Bonilla will attend the Ray Kroc Awards celebration at the McDonald’s 2020 Worldwide Convention in April 2020. 

In addition to Bonilla, Northeast Georgia Inc., has four additional Ray Kroc Award Winners; Kelley Hollis, Takisha Angeletti, Danny Hutson and Brian Kinney.
