AkzoNobel of Oakwood recently celebrated 30 years in business. The company produces latex paints for several brand-name retailers. AkzoNobel underwent a significant expansion in 1992 and a process automation upgrade in 2007. The facility employs approximately 120 people, eight of whom have been there since it opened in 1982. Rahinsky named VP for Hotel Equities Hall County resident Brad Rahinsky has been named vice president of operations for Dunwoody-based Hotel Equities (www.hotelequities.com). Rahinsky’s responsibilities at the hotel development and management company include creating and administrating models for operational excellence. He develops criteria and guidelines for the company’s hiring practices for all associates and oversees selection, training and mentoring of managers.
