The Fockele Garden Co. has won an award in the 2008 Landscape Design Award Program of the Perennial Plant Association for its garden design and installation at Kipper Tool Co. in Gainesville.

The award was presented July 22 in Philadelphia during the association's annual symposium. "Perennial Plants Journal" will feature the Kipper Tool Co. garden design in an upcoming issue recognizing award winners.

Commerce Crossing schedules festivals
Commerce Crossing shopping center, located in Banks County on U.S. 441 near Interstate 85, will begin a monthly Art & Antique Festival on Aug. 2 and 3 and on the first full weekend of every month.

"We will have scores of art and antique dealers showing their products from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday," center spokeswoman Alicia Andrews said. "The dealers will set up in our parking lot and there will be food and refreshments for our visitors."

Commerce Crossing is a shopping center owned and managed by Healey Weatherholtz Properties, an Atlanta-based commercial real estate company with holdings nationwide.
