A Buford man was killed in a wreck Monday morning on Interstate 985 after he struck a tree along the shoulder, police said. Michael Bruce, 29, died from his injuries at the scene near the Buford Drive exit, according to Gwinnett County Police. According to a report, Bruce was driving southbound around 3:30 a.m. Monday on the interstate.
