An 18-year-old Buford man has been charged with manufacturing marijuana after police say they found eight marijuana plants growing in his closet.

Cameron Naquin, 18, was arrested Thursday after the Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad and the Hall County Sheriff’s Office searched his home in the 4900 Block of Bennett Road, according to a news release.

Deputies found eight marijuana plants growing inside a closet. Police also reportedly found a “small” amount of processed marijuana and a loaded 12-gauge shotgun near the plants.

The plants are capable of yielding approximately one pound of marijuana each, according to the release.

Naquin was arrested without incident and booked in at the Hall County Jail.
