A man who went to Lake Lanier to ride his personal watercraft apparently drowned Friday evening, according to officials. The body of the 21-year-old Suwanee man, whose identity was not disclosed, was recovered by the Hall County Fire Services Marine Rescue team about 40 feet from a boat ramp off Buford Dam Road in Buford, according to Capt. Tommy Rutledge, a spokesman for the Gwinnett County Fire Department.
