Hall County Sheriff’s deputies searched for armed robbery suspects who abandoned a car in South Hall on Friday night.

Col. Jeff Strickland said a robbery occurred at a Braselton home in Jackson County around 9 p.m. The robbers reportedly fled in the resident’s red Chevy Cobalt, Strickland said.

About 9:30 p.m., Hall County officials received a call reporting the car abandoned in a subdivision on Forrest Knoll Road off Spout Springs Road, Strickland said.

Sheriff’s officials set up a perimeter and brought in police dogs to search the area. At press time, no arrests had been made.
