More overnight lane closures are set as part of work on the Boling Bridge replacement on Dawsonville Highway/Ga. 53 near the Hall-Forsyth county line.

Starting at 7 p.m. Wednesday and running through 6 a.m. Thursday, one lane will be closed beginning at Dogwood Path and ending at Little Hall Park as crews will be pouring the third concrete support for the bridge.

The work had originally been scheduled for overnight Tuesday but was postponed.

Traffic control measures will be in place.

The Georgia Department of Transportation said drivers should slow to 35 mph while in the work zone.

Scott Bridge Co., of Opelika, Ala., is handling the $20 million project, which calls for construction of the new bridge next to the current bridge, then demolition of the current bridge. The project is scheduled for a March 31, 2019, completion.
