Law enforcement officials stand on Allen Road on Saturday afternoon near where a body was found earlier in the day. The property adjoins the Rain Tree Trace residence of missing Oakwood woman Holly Fox Strickland, who was reported missing on Monday. No foul play was suspected, Sheriff's Office officials said.

Hall County law enforcement authorities believe the body of a woman found Saturday behind an Oakwood home is that of Holly Fox Strickland, who had been missing since Monday.

No foul play is suspected, they said.

Spokeswoman Nicole Bailes with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office said the address where the body was found was Strickland’s residence. A family member found the body in a wooded area behind the house and backyard, she said.

Officials received the call at 10:45 a.m.

Bailes said investigators could not confirm a cause of death. The body will be sent to a DeKalb County medical examiner’s office for an autopsy, she said, with results expected with a week.

There was no foul play or anything suspicious at this point in the investigation, Bailes said.

Bailes also said it was learned that it wasn’t uncommon for Strickland to leave for a few days.

Strickland, 32, was reported missing and was last seen about 10 p.m. Monday by family at the home in the 5500 block of Rain Tree Trace. She left behind her car, purse and other personal belongings, Sheriff’s Office officials said.
