Authorities are investigating an early Thursday boat fire on Lake Lanier, including trying to find the vessel’s owners. Fire crews responded at 6:08 a.m. to the Shoal Creek campground area in the southern part of the lake on reports from a passing fisherman. They found a 20-foot cabin cruiser fully involved.
