A horse barn was destroyed and one horse killed in a fire Monday afternoon in East Hall County. Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell said firefighters were dispatched to the 3700 block of Coker Road and saw a large column of smoke as they approached. The 20-by-30-foot barn had already started collapsing when they arrived.
