A Flowery Branch man has been charged with 26 counts of sexual exploitation of children, according to authorities.

The case started with a tip Monday, Oct. 14 from the Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children task force.

Hall County Sheriff’s Office investigators executed a search warrant this week at the home of Steven Joseph Robertson, 27.

“During the search, investigators seized several electronic devices that Robertson used to obtain at least 26 videos of children engaged in sexually explicit conduct with adults. He uploaded the videos between May and June of 2019, according to the initial investigation,” Sheriff’s Office spokesman Derreck Booth wrote in a news release.

Robertson was booked in to the Hall County Jail Thursday, Oct. 17, where he is being held without bond.

The case is still under investigation.
