Firefighters were extinguishing a fire Friday, July 23, that engulfed an East Hall home, according to authorities.
Hall County Fire Services personnel were working around 2 p.m. Friday in the 3500 block of Shadow Trace, where a single-family home was covered in heavy smoke and fire.
Division Chief Zach Brackett said a defensive attack was being used to put out the fire, and no injuries have been reported. The home was considered a total loss.
Brackett said seven adults were displaced, and the American Red Cross was contacted for assistance.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
