The fifth annual Back to School Rally and Education Day is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Beulah Rucker Museum, 2101 Athens Highway, Gainesville.Students can take a tour of the museum dedicated to the longtime Hall County education pioneer. Afterward, they will receive a free backpack full of school supplies.There will be free hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill, plus prizes awarded to students and teachers who attend. Informational booths will be on hand for visitors.This is the second year the event is scheduled at the museum.The goal of the rally is to encourage students to embrace education and to help educators and school staff address the dropout rate.For more information, contact Rojene Bailey at 404-401-6589.
