A Gainesville man is accused of trafficking methamphetamine after officers allegedly found $9,600 worth of the drug, according to authorities.
Danny Lee Grindle, 35, was also charged with possession of methamphetamine with attempt to distribute and an improper license plate.
Grindle was booked Friday in to the Hall County Jail, where he remains.
Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad task force officers and the Hall County Sheriff’s Office investigated Grindle in the area of Limestone Parkway and Beverly Road in Gainesville.
“Pursuant to the investigation, Danny Lee Grindle was found in possession of approximately 96 grams (3.4 ounces) of methamphetamine packaged in one bag and $1,784 in cash,” MANS Lt. Don Scalia said in a news release.
No further charges or arrests are expected, according to authorities.
