About 10 Hall County sheriff's cars, police dogs and a Georgia State Patrol helicopter were out at a South Hall neighborhood this afternoon searching for a burglary suspect who ran during a traffic stop, authorities said.

Hall County Sheriff's Col. Jeff Strickland said the burglary occurred about 2:40 p.m. at a home on Oak Fern Drive. At about 3:20 p.m., a deputy made a traffic stop on Swansey Road near Friendship Road in South Hall.

After the car was pulled over, one suspect ran from his car, prompting the search. A second suspect was arrested.

The suspect is described only as a white male. He is not considered dangerous.
