A North Forsyth teenager was shot in the stomach Saturday afternoon while he and his father cleaned a gun that accidentally discharged, officials said. The 18-year-old was standing next to his father as the 42-year-old cleaned the Smith & Wesson .40 pistol, according to Epifanio Rodriguez, a spokesman with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office. The incident happened at about 5 p.m. at a house.
