A Gainesville man is accused of shooting another man after an argument, according to authorities.
Russell Lee Toler, 42, was arrested and charged Saturday with aggravated assault.
Authorities said Toler “shot an acquaintance of his three times in the chest” Saturday after an argument. Lt. Scott Ware said Toler shot the man with a .22 caliber handgun in the 1300 block of Marlow Drive in Hall County.
“The victim is recovering in the hospital and his injuries are not considered to be life-threatening,” Ware wrote in a news release.
Ware said he did not know the content of the argument, but authorities believe the two were co-workers.
Hall County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies and investigators arrested Toler. He remains in the Hall County Jail.
