A Flowery Branch man allegedly befriended a 13-year-old boy through Snapchat and offered cash for “inappropriate” photographs, according to authorities.

Luke James Decamp, 18, was charged with sexual exploitation of a child. He was booked Friday in to the Hall County Jail, where he remains.

Decamp’s attorney did not return a request for comment Friday.

Hall County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Scott Ware said the 13-year-old “disclosed that he sent the images to (Decamp) in exchange for cash, which (Decamp) had offered for them.

“The photographs were taken by the victim,” Ware said.

Ware said this allegedly took place in January in the western part of the county, and a warrant was issued on Thursday.

Decamp also faces a charge of aggravated child molestation stemming from an alleged incident at a church in April.

Ware said Decamp allegedly “sexually molested a 14-year-old” boy, and a warrant was issued on Thursday. The pastor reported the incident to law enforcement, according to authorities.
