A man allegedly drove into another man he had been arguing with before driving away from Montgomery Drive, according to authorities.
Hall County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Derreck Booth wrote in an email “two adult males who knew one another got into a verbal altercation, which escalated to one of the men striking the other with his car.”
The man was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center “with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries,” Booth said.
The incident took place on Montgomery Drive near McEver Arts Academy.
Booth said the sheriff’s office was investigating the assault, and Georgia State Patrol would investigate the hit and run.
No further details were released by the sheriff’s office or state patrol.
