Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad agents said they received a package with methamphetamine allegedly belonging to a Gainesville man.
Renee Garcia, 36, was arrested and charged Monday with trafficking methamphetamine and criminal attempt to traffic methamphetamine.
The agents reported receiving on Friday “a package containing in excess of 4 ounces of methamphetamine as well as other items,” according to a news release.
The estimated street value of the drugs is $13,200.
Believing the drugs belonged to Garcia, drug enforcement agents executed a search warrant on Garcia’s Green Hill Circle address and seized more than 4 ounces of methamphetamine, according to the news release.
Other items reportedly found include digital scales and less than an ounce of marijuana.
Agents estimated the value of the drugs seized to be worth $13,640.
Garcia, Phillip Michael Parrish, 36, and Cesiah Manoella Aguilar-Berumen, 40, all of Gainesville, face charges of possession of marijuana, authorities said.
Aguilar-Berumen and Parrish were additionally charged with possession of methamphetamine.
All three were booked into the Hall County Jail, where they remain.
