In celebration of Independence Day, a reading of the Declaration of Independence will take place at Kenyon Plaza next to the Hall County Courthouse, 225 Green St., Gainesville. Members of the Gainesville-Northeastern Circuit Bar Association and Hall County Sheriff Gerald Couch will read the document aloud starting at about 11:45 a.m. A color guard will also be provided by the Sons of the American Revolution.
