Gainesville attorney Ashley Bell, a former Hall County commissioner, has joined the transition team of President-elect Donald Trump to help recruit staff at the U.S. Department of State. Bell was hired as a senior strategist for the Republican National Committee during the campaign, working to address issues and concerns prominent in minority communities. He now joins a team charged with appointing foreign diplomats.
