An Atlanta man is accused of shooting a woman in the face and causing serious damage to her right eye, according to court documents.

Timothy Allen Hill, 25, was charged in a June 21 indictment with criminal attempt to commit murder, aggravated battery and aggravated assault, among other charges.

He was booked March 26 in to the Hall County Jail, where he remains.

No attorney was listed for Hill in the Hall County Comprehensive Justice Information System.

Hall County Sheriff’s Office authorities said Hill is accused of shooting a 42-year-old woman in the face March 25 in the 6900 block of Dee Lane in North Hall.

Hill was originally charged with aggravated battery.

The victim was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville and later airlifted to Grady Hospital.

According to the indictment, Hill is accused of “depriving her of” her right eye “by shooting her in the face.”

The indictment also alleges Hill did not comply with two correctional officers’ verbal commands, leading to charges of misdemeanor obstruction of an officer.
