Statewide Wrecker Service hauls off the Chrystler 300 that was allegedly used in two armed robberies by Anthony Shivers, 31, of Flowery Branch, from Lanier Charter Career Academy on Wednesday afternoon. Authorities have captured a suspect in an armed robbery at the Kangaroo gas station in Gainesville. Gainesville Police said officers responded to the Kangaroo at the corner of Queen City Parkway and Industrial Boulevard, and the suspect fled the area. The suspect is Anthony Shivers, 31, of Flowery Branch, who also was wanted in an armed robbery Saturday at a Dollar General in Buford, according to Gainesville Police Deputy Chief Jay Parrish.
