A man approached a Denny’s employee Monday morning and demanded money at gunpoint, according to police.

Gainesville Police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery around 9 a.m. Monday at the Browns Bridge Road Denny’s.

Sgt. Kevin Holbrook said a black man approached an employee, “produced a firearm and demanded money.” The amount of money was not disclosed.

The suspect ran away, and there were no injuries, according to police.

The man was seen wearing a green sweatshirt and a black hat.

The restaurant did not answer a call for comment Monday afternoon.
