If you’re planning to be in the downtown Gainesville area Saturday, schedule some extra time to get where you’re going. With the Spring Chicken Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and a number of other events going on around town, traffic is likely to be even more of a hassle than usual. The festival kicks off with a 5-kilometer run, followed by the Chicken City Parade around the square.
