North Georgia residents can expect to see snow today, but it isn’t expected to last. The National Weather Service predicts a 20 percent chance of snow before 11 a.m. Only light precipitation is forecast, and it likely will turn to rain for most of the day in Hall County. "We’re not thinking of any significant accumulations, maybe an inch or so in the higher elevations," Verona Murrell, a forecaster for the National Weather Service, saidFriday evening.
