Habitat for Humanity of Hall County will be taking applications on Saturday for the next round of homes to be built in the 2009-10 building year.

Interested applicants must attend the meeting to apply. Families are chosen on the basis of their need for housing, their ability to make payments on an affordable no-profit, no-interest mortgage, and their willingness to be active partners with Habitat.

Homes will be in various regions of Hall County.

The meeting will be at noon Saturday in the Parish Hall at Grace Episcopal Church, 422 Brenau Ave., Gainesville.

Those interested in applying should call Habitat by phone at 678-450-5998 or go to the Web site at www.habitathallcounty.org to view directions to the church.

Since 1987, Habitat has built a total of 34 homes in Hall County, with one currently under construction.
