An Alto woman is accused of shooting a man three times in the chest Monday in Gainesville, police said. April Dawn Haag, 29, was charged with aggravated battery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. At the time of the incident, Haag was a mailroom employee of The Times, though she was not working that day.
