Imane Harris takes a seat in Hall County Magistrate Court on Monday morning for a commital hearing following his arrest for allegedly swerving at Oakwood Police officers over Memorial Day weekend in a long chase.
A man charged by Oakwood Police with aggravated assault chose to let his case move on to Superior Court Monday. Imane Harris, 21, of Gainesville, was charged on May 24 with aggravated assault, having allegedly swerved at an officer’s car, police said. Oakwood Police reported that Harris was allegedly “laying drags,” meaning the car was moving around dangerously in either a circle or zig zag.
