A 90-year-old man is in stable condition after being ejected from his truck Friday evening in Gainesville, according to authorities. Hubert Deaton, of Gainesville, was driving a Ford F-150 truck Friday evening on Thompson Bridge Road. “The initial investigation indicates that a Ford F-150 failed to yield right of way as it was pulling out of the Publix on Thompson Bridge Road,” Gainesville Police Sgt. Kevin Holbrook wrote in an email. “The truck struck a southbound Toyota Sienna nearly head-on.”
