After two vacated their positions on the Flowery Branch City Council earlier this year, six residents have thrown their hats in the ring for the Posts 1 and 5 positions. Michael Justice and Chris Mundy are vying for the Post 1 seat, formerly held by Damon Gibbs and set to expire Dec. 31. Monica Beatty, Alan Davenport, Ed Edwards and Nicole Kriews are candidates for the Post 5 position, formerly held by Tara Richards.
