A joint investigation by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation has resulted in the arrest of two 18-year-olds, a 17-year-old and three juveniles. The sexual assault of a juvenile was reported Jan. 29 by the victim’s mother, who told investigators several teenage boys drove the juvenile victim to a Jackson County residence where she says the crimes occurred. A forensic interview and evaluation was conducted with the victim.
