A two-car wreck blocked U.S. 129 at West Ridge Road for an hour and sent four people to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries in the middle of the day Thursday.

A pickup truck pulled out from Chestnut Street into the path of a passenger car, Gainesville Police Sgt. Kevin Holbrook said, adding that it appears the truck was at fault. He said the crash was possibly weather-related.

Holbrook said both drivers and two passengers in the car were taken to the hospital with injuries.
