No one was injured Sunday afternoon as an East Hall single-wide mobile home burned.
Hall County fire officials are investigating the fire, which displaced the home’s three occupants.
The “home is unlivable and Red Cross has been notified to assist the occupants with temporary housing and clothes,” said Battalion Chief Scott Cagle, fire department spokesman.
When firefighters arrived in the 3500 block of Gillsville Highway, about 60 percent of the house was involved in fire, Cagle said.
The blaze forced authorities to close Gillsville Highway near East Hall Road.
Further details, including a damage estimate, weren’t available.
