Three Gainesville residents have been arrested on drug charges, authorities said Tuesday.
Keith Rollin Surig, 23, of Gainesville was arrested Monday by deputies from the Hall County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Division. He had two outstanding warrants for his arrest stemming from an undercover drug investigation that was started earlier this month, according to Lt. Scott Ware of the Multi Agency Narcotics Squad.
Surig faces charges of possession of heroin with the intent to distribute and possession of oxycodone.
His co-defendant, Laney Robertson, 21, of Gainesville was arrested by Multi Agency Narcotics Squad agents on Tuesday and faces the same charges as Surig as well as giving false information to an officer and an outstanding superior court bench warrant that was issued earlier this year.
Surig and Robertson were arrested at separate locations.
During the arrest of Ms. Robertson, agents located and subsequently seized additional quantities of metahamphetamine and marijuana in the possession of Richard Lamar Smith, 43, of Gainesville. Ms. Robertson and Smith were arrested in the same location.
Smith is charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana.
All three suspects were arrested without incident and booked in at the Hall County Jail.
