A Gainesville man and woman have been arrested in a couple of vehicle break-ins.

The Gainesville Police Department has charged Steven Mitchell Jones and Lillian Catherine Wojeck, both 20, with two counts of entering a car to steal, theft by taking and attempted burglary, said officer Kevin Holbrook, the department's spokesman.

The Uniform Patrol Division was called to the 400 block of Adair Street regarding entering auto and burglary reports. A number of items had been taken from the autos, including vehicle parts and electronics.

Physical evidence gathered at the scene led officers to a nearby home, where they found the stolen items, Holbrook said.

In an unrelated case, Gainesville police have charged Luis Angel Gonzalez, 45, of Bethlehem, with four counts of burglaries.

Gonzalez is accused of burglarizing businesses overnight by breaking the front door. The burglaries took place over two weeks in April.

Officers used evidence to link Gonzalez to the burglaries, Holbrook said.
