The eight confirmed rabies alert of the year and second this week in Hall County has been issued for the Wellington Avenue area in North Hall. A dog recently came in contact with a rabid raccoon in that area. The raccoon was confirmed today to be rabid by the Georgia Public Health Lab-Virology Section in Decatur.
