Deputies with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office arrested two men on charges of aggravated battery after an incident Friday in Murrayville.
Public information officer Lt. Scott Ware said in a release that Jacob Tyler Delong, 20, and Chase Lane Jarrard, 22, both of Hall County, are accused of striking the victim repeatedly in the face and head, resulting in a fractured skull, a fractured orbital socket and a fractured sinus cavity which led to serious disfigurement.
Deputies responded to the 5700 Block of Wade Whelchel Road and arrested both suspects without incident. They were booked into the Hall County Jail.
It is unknown what relationship existed between the victim and the alleged assailants or what prompted the assault, Ware said.
This case remains under investigation.
