Two women were hospitalized after a two-vehicle head-on collision Tuesday along Browns Bridge Road in northeastern Forsyth County.

The crash occurred about 1 p.m. near where the road meets Waldrip Circle and McBride Lane, not far from Lake Lanier.

According to the Forsyth County Fire Department, one woman was taken by ambulance to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, where she was listed in serious condition.

The other had to be cut from the vehicle, after which she was flown to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. She was in critical condition, according to authorities.

Neither of the women’s names has been released.
