A pair of vehicle accidents led to three injuries Saturday.
A 21-year-old woman was airlifted to an Atlanta hospital after a one-car rollover accident in North Hall.
Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell said the crash occurred about 4 p.m. on U.S. 129 near Turner’s Produce, about a half-mile from the White County line.
The road was being shut down temporarily for a helicopter to land and take the injured woman to Grady Memorial Hospital.
Another injured passenger was being taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center by ambulance.
Additional information was not immediately available. The Georgia State Patrol is investigating.
Later, a three-vehicle accident on Interstate 985 briefly shut down traffic in both directions in the afternoon.
The accident occurred in the southbound lane at mile marker 12 in Flowery Branch near the Wrigley’s plant, acccording to Hall County Sheriff’s Office Col. Jeff Strickland.
One vehicle was overturned.
Two people were injured and transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Strickland said.
Georgia State Patrol troopers also were on the scene working the accident.
