A Flowery Branch juvenile is accused of breaking into a car and having some $1,000 in stolen items in his possession.

The 15-year-old has been charged with two counts of entering auto, theft by taking and theft by receiving, according to 1st Lt. Kevin Head of the Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad/Gang Task Force.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office was called Saturday morning to a report of a vehicle break-in the Mitchell Creek Drive area of Blackjack Road in South Hall.

Upon arrival, deputies found the suspect in the area. Gang Task Force agents also responded to the scene, Head said.

Authorities recovered such stolen items as credit cards, digital cameras, sunglasses and a digital media player, he added.

The juvenile was taken to the Gainesville Regional Youth Detention Center.

The case remains under investigation by the Gang Task Force and further criminal charges are pending, Head said.
