Mr. and Mrs. Warr

Mary Helen Wetherington and James Wilson Warr III were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Jan. 5, 2008, at Frazier United Methodist Church in Montgomery, Ala. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Wetherington of Clermont. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Warr of Montgomery.

The Rev. Dr. John Ed Mathison performed the ceremony. Pianist and vocalist Mrs. Alisa Sexton presented a program of wedding music.

The bride’s friends Mrs. Amanda Phelps of Flowery Branch and Mrs. Sherry Savage of Gainesville were matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s friends Ms. Meredith Hulsey and Mrs. Stephanie Shuler, both of Gainesville. The groom’s nieces Lauren and Gwen Kathryn South of Montgomery were the flower girls.

The groom’s father was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s friend Mr. Bryan Dewberry of Eclectic, Ala., the groom’s brother-in-law Mr. Keith South of Montgomery and the groom’s friend Mr. Rick Flores of Montgomery.

The bride carried a handkerchief belonging to her great-grandmother, Mrs. Helen Loggins, and a sixpence given by the bride’s friends Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wilson. She wore earrings that were a gift from the groom.

The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at O’Charley’s Restaurant in Montgomery on the eve of the wedding.

The bride’s and groom’s parents gave a reception at Frazier United Methodist Fellowship Hall following the ceremony.

Following a wedding trip to Pigeon Forge, Tenn., the couple resides in Montgomery.
