Miss Allison Haley Smith and Mr. Dwayne Thomas Lee were united in marriage at 1 p.m. May 17, 2008, at Chicopee Baptist Church in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Smith of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Lee of Flowery Branch

The Rev. Phil Carpenter performed the ceremony. Pianist Mrs. Gina Underwood presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's sister Mrs. Lindsay Shanley of Gainesville was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the groom's sister Mrs. Angela Trotman of Gainesville and the bride's friends Mrs. Jessica Brown of Americus and Miss Elizabeth Bagby of Flowery Branch. The groom's nieces Miss Abigail Trotman of Gainesville and Miss Alexis Hardin of Winder were the flower girls.

The groom's father was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's brother Mr. James Weaver of Winder, the groom's brother-in-law Mr. Todd Trotman of Gainesville and the bride's cousin Mr. Devin Porter of Rome. The bride's brother Mr. Cody Smith of Gainesville and the groom's nephew Mr. Daniel Weaver of Winder were the ring bearers. Mrs. Angie Mallory was the wedding coordinator. Mrs. Sandra Pinson, Mrs. Stephanie Morgan, Mr. Neil Copeland, Mr. Ray DeLuca and Mr. Mark Stephens assisted. Mrs. Deborah Smith kept the bride's book.

The bride wore her grandmother's pearls that were also worn by her sister, a ring belonging to her late great-grandmother and she carried a handkerchief belonging to her late grandfather.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Chicopee Baptist Church in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at the Gainesville Civic Center in Gainesville following the ceremony.

Following a cruise to St. Thomas, St. Maarten and Nassau in the Bahamas, the couple reside in Gainesville.
